Please be advised that Mustang Records office will be closed from 12.01 am on Friday 23rd October until 11.59 pm on Wednesday 28th October. Customers can still place orders during this period, however, orders will not be shipped until after the store re-opens. Thank you for your understanding but sometimes this is action necessary for many small businesses to carry-out stocktaking, relocating stock and various others activities to ensure smooth operation. DEAR CUSTOMERS.

We have all heard recently about the risk of scammers gaining access to private information held by websites. Rest assured that Mustang Records does not hold any private information on our customers other than that required by the Taxation Office in case of an audit by them. That information is as follows: customer name, address, contact information and amount purchased. Mustang Records does have any information or hold any information regarding bank accounts, credit cards, passwords etc. as all payments by credit card or debit card are processed by through a third party, namely PayPal, who have taken the necessary steps to to secure this information. It is necessary for PayPal to hold this information for a short period in the event that a refund needs to made in regard to the purchase and then the information is deleted by PayPal. In the situation where payment is made by direct deposit Mustang Records only receives notification that a payment has been received, the amount and a reference if provided by the customer. No other information is provided.

NEW POSTAGE RATES.

Recently we advised that Australia Post had applied to the ACCC for an increase in postal charges for the carriage and delivery of letters which has been approved to take effect from September 1, 2026. As Mustang Records is able to ship standard CDs and DVDs as large letters under Australia Post this increase will effect our shipping costs and regrettably we have had to increase our shipping charges to coincide with the new postal charges. The price increases are not dramatic but will effect the shipping of orders which can be shipped by Mustang Records as large letters. We have updated our shipping charges accordingly.

NEW SHIPPING INFORMATION REQUIRED BY AUSTRALIA POST.

We were recently informed by Australia Post that new shipping information for the shipping of parcels within Australai would be required from August 1, 2026. We have now been advised by Australia Post that the introduction of these new requirements has now been delayed until sometime in 2027.  Australia Post will require a mobile telephone number or email address or both to displayed on the address labels of all parcels shipped through Australia Post. The majority of our customers already provide this information which is deeply appreciated, however, a small majority do not provide either a mobile number or email address. If this information is not provided Australia Post will not accept parcels, no exception. At Mustang Records we endeavour to ship out all orders as quickly as possible upon receipt of the order. Failure to provide the required information may delay the shipping of orders whilst we chase up this informaton so please provide this information when placing orders.

DIFFICULTY IN PLACING ORDERS.

It has come to our attention that some customers have difficulty in completing orders when wishing to use credit or debit cards. When placing an order and wishing to use a credit or debit card below the PayPal button (this button is only if you wish to make payment using your PayPal account) you will see "More  Payment Options". When you click on this you will be redirected to where you can enter your credit or debit card details to complete your order. PayPal only acts as our Payment Gateway. Please ensure that you finalize payment by clicking on "Place order" button
