REVIEW: When Amy (Terri Garber) and seven of her college friends take her parents yacht for a vacation, under the watchful eye of her ex Marine veteran skipper “Sarge Ford” (Jason Miller), nothing could have prepared her for the trouble they were about to encounter.

After an accident on the yacht, Amy, and a few of her friends decide to head inland and seek medical help but soon realize help is the last thing they will receive. The friends are taken hostage by a group of revolutionary guerillas who plan to use the Americans as bargaining chips in their war against their Government. Sarge Launches a rescue mission but only he and Amy manage to escape, leaving the rest of the teens in the hands of the revolutionaries.

Safely, back at home Amy learns that the American government is unwilling to negotiate the release of the hostages. Left with no choice Sarge, Amy and a group of Amy’s friends set out on a rescue mission of their own turning these fun loving college students into “Toy Soldiers”
