As the atomic powered rocket “Luna” is constructed in the Mojave Desert, insidious, foreign-created propaganda turns the public opinion against them. Sensing that the launch will be halted, four of the men decide to make a hasty pre-dawn lift-off in the untested rocket: Destination Moon! The stunning level of realism and attention to detail is remarkable considering this was created more that 10 years before the U.S. launched it’s first satellite and almost 20 years before man walked on the Moon.
