George and Willie are two prisoners who escape from prison. George is a hardened criminal, whilst Willie is a simple-minded youth awaiting trial. The two are handcuffed together but still manage to board a train. Hiding in a wood, however, they are disturbed by a man out shooting. To Willie’s horror, George kills him. The two separate, but the authorities are now anxious to arrest them for murder.

SAPPHIRE (1959) ~ NIGEL PATRICK / YVONNE MITCHELL / MICHAEL CRAIG.

The police discover the body of a young girl who has been stabbed violently through the heart. As they trace her identity, her brother identifies her as music student, Sapphire Robbins. As the murder hunt is launched, the police find a range of suspects, each with their own motives for killing her. When it is discovered that she was three months pregnant, it becomes clear that she was living a double life.

THE IPCRESS FILE (1965) ~ MICHAEL CAINE / NIGEL GREEN / GUY DOLEMAN.
