REVIEW:  Two and a half thousand people crowded into the Melbourne Concert Hall on this balmy night in 1993. Young children seeing their first live performance rubbed shoulders with teenagers as well as diehard fans in their thirties, forties and fifties with their own parents. Finally the house lights dimmed. The lively chatter ended and thousands of pairs of eyes focused on a suspended video screen as melodies of much loved Seekers songs were plucked on a solo guitar.

Faithful fans were taken on a visual stroll down memory lane as unforgettable images of the iconic sixties flashed across the screen. The audio visual prelude climaxed as the deep, rich voice of George Fairfax reverberated around the auditorium with the words: "Tonight, as part of their twenty-five-year silver jubilee reunion celebration, they're back together again: Athol Guy, Bruce Woodley, Keith Potger and Judith Durham. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls - The Seekers." That night we witnessed something truly special...fairy tales do come true! The Seekers were back together!
