Together with contemporaries Jeff Healey and Lawrence Gowan, music fans are treated to an all-star performance by some of the most acclaimed musicians ever assembled on one stage.

Often referred to as “the rock event of its decade”, this 1995 show is also one of the last concerts performed by rockabilly legend Carl Perkins and The Band’s Rick Danko. The updated version of this stellar show now features enhanced audio in 5.1 surround sound, putting the viewer centre stage at Toronto’s highly acclaimed Massey Hall.

As a special bonus to this all-star show, the DVD also includes an hour long documentary where the stars of the show reminisce about rock’n’roll days gone by. Featuring interviews with Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Band and Ronnie Hawkins, this documentary is a history lesson on the birth and evolution of rock’n’roll as told by the very artists who started it all.
