REVIEW: Sensational concert from one of the world’s top groups. On April 27th, 2001, The Bee Gees appeared before a crowd of 1000 people at the Manhattan Center as part of the A&E Network’s “Live By Request” television series that presents the biggest stars in popular music playing the songs their fans most want to hear. This was the Bee Gee’s first concert-length performance on the North American continent since the landmark November 1997, “One Night Only” show in Las Vegas. The result – a memorable concert showcasing the enormous talents of the Brothers Gibb and just why they are one of the most popular groups in the world.
