REVIEW: This DVD is one of the most sought after DVDs by country music fans. It features a compilation of all Patsy’s filmed performances (at the time of this release, more have since become available). This unique program is hosted by Robert K. Oermann, the dean of Nashville’s music writers, whose brief insightful commentary places these immortal performances in context with their place in music history. Fully authorized by the Patsy Cline Estate, this program features Patsy’s complete performances of these songs released for the very first time, including two performances that were her last recordings – shot in Nashville four days before her tragic death in 1963. This DVD is a fine companion to Patsy’s, The Real Patsy Cline DVD. The important thing with this DVD is that all the films clips are complete, except one, with no voice over. The quality of the clips ranges from fair to very good bearing in mind that these are vintage performances.
