REVIEW: This DVD contains 42 performances lifted from the Ranch Party television show hosted by Tex Ritter. The collection of clips contains a mix of country and rockabilly. It would appear that the performances have been transferred from home video as the quality ranges from poor – fair/good. A number of clips are available in far better condition for example the Patsy Cline performance of “I’ve Loved And Lost Again” is only fair quality here, but, the same clip appears on the Patsy Cline DVD “Sweet Dreams Still” and is of excellent quality on that DVD. Having said that, there are many clips contained on this DVD which do not appear elsewhere and for the genuine collector it is worth considering purchasing this DVD to put in your collection in case better quality clips do not become available. You will need to do a bit of fiddling with the contrast and sharpness buttons on your television set. Below is a list of all performances on this DVD.
