REVIEW: The Los Angeles based “Town Hall Party” television show was a major part of the country music scene of the late 1950s. Not quite receiving the same stature as the “Grand Ole Opry” it was nonetheless an integral part of the country music scene and a huge showcase for country music performers and fans on the western seaboard of the USA. This DVD showcases the “Town Hall Party” of the night of Halloween on 31st, October 1959. Memorable country music performances previously not available. Great ****
