REVIEW: Released in 2007 this DVD / CD set was issued in two formats. The limited issue release contained a 200 page book. This version is the more common version containing a 16 page booklet in substitute for the 200 page version.

For many years we have seen only partial clips of Elvis’s Tupelo homecoming on 26 September, 1956. The original Movietone News film of the homecoming street parade and afternoon concert was lost. However, the original film was found in 2006 and here we have for all Elvis fans footage of the events that took place on that memorable day in 1956. The DVD contains unreleased film (until the release of this set in 2007) of the afternoon performance complete with audio for the first time of Elvis performing six songs including “Heartbreak Hotel” and “Don’t Be Cruel”. The only known Elvis concert of the '50s with sound. Also included is further unseen footage from backstage, evening show, street parade and much more. Also includes a never before seen or heard interview with Elvis at the 1957 Tupelo show. The audio section contains 21 tracks of the two concerts from Tupelo 1956 accompanied by rare photographs.
