REVIEW: To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of Elvis’s first movie 20th Century Fox have issued this special edition of “Love Me Tender”. For those not familiar with the movie it is set in 1865 in the dying hours of the Civil War. Three of the Reno brothers don’t know the war has ended. They manage to steal a Union Army payroll and head home with the money. While Vance Reno (Richard Egan) can think only of the love of his life, Cathy (Debra Paget), it turns out that the brothers have been reported dead and Cathy has married their youngest brother Clint (Elvis Presley). Vance accepts this until he learns Cathy still loves him. To complicate things, the U.S. Army knows of the brother’s theft and is hunting them down.

SPECIAL FEATURES: Commentary by Elvis Historian and friend, Jerry Schilling. The Music Machine. 2 Featurettes. 2 Movie-oke Segments. Stills Gallery. Original Theatrical Trailer.
