UMBRELLA DAVID 0810 REVIEW: In 1957, when rock’n’roll music was at it’s peak there were a number of movies appearing at the box office featuring rock’n’roll artists. Most rock’n’roll movies had abysmal story lines and even worse acting. However, one of the good things that did come out of these movies is that the rock’n’roll artists appearing in the movies got a chance to strut their stuff and as a result we have some classic performances captured on film for perpertuity. Rock All Night was just one of these movies and starred The Platters and The Blockbusters. The quality both visually and sound wise are very good and a must for any rock’n’roll fans DVD collection.
