REVIEW: Superb collection of 19 rare performances from one of Country Music’s legends put together by Stefan Grossman’s Guitar Workshop. All clips are presented complete and are in excellent condition with exception of track twelve which has been lifted from a television performance. The first eleven tracks have been lifted from Merle’s early days and are presented in Sepia and are truly in excellent condition considering their vintage. Whoever stored the footage should be congratulated. Tracks thirteen to nineteen are presented in colour and again are of excellent quality. An absolute must for fans of country and in particular fans of Merle Travis. Great ****
